This is going to be a really short but sweet blog post, just to announce some exciting news!
Yes, you read the title right! I am incredibly excited to announce that I have finally got myself a little drone, to add to my camera collection. I am always trying to improve my films, so I finally decided after a bit of encouragement that 2022 was the year to get flying! All the relevant paperwork and insurance has been sorted and is in place, the drone has been purchased and flown at a wedding for the first time at a wedding already. I absolutely love the the footage it has captured so far, and I really can’t wait until I can cut together the first Highlight film with some gorgeous aerial scenery. It really will add that extra special touch to your wedding memories.
To make the most of the summer weather and to add to my portfolio, I will be taking my drone with me to every wedding in August and flying it where possible. However it will be down to each couple to ensure that permission is sought from their venue in order for me to fly my drone, I am more than happy to send over a copy of my insurance along with my Public liability insurance and PAT certificates. The final decision on whether or not to fly will be made at my own discretion on the day, drones are subject to weather and location restrictions.
