So I want to do something a little bit different for this blog post, it’s going to be a short and sweet little news update 🙂

Those who follow my Facebook will notice that things have been a bit quiet lately. It’s safe to say I absolutely miss working right now in what would usually be some of the busiest months for FMP, every weekend would be spent capturing a wedding and the weekdays would be spent editing and doing admin during the day and meeting clients for pre-wedding chats or consultations on the evenings. I miss it so much!

You may also have seen a few hints being dropped about some changes…..

When I first started Focused Memory Productions (or FMP as many people know it by!) waaay back in 2013 it was with the idea to do both event and wedding videography, so I wanted a logo, branding and a website to reflect this. However, as the years passed, and I spent more and more time meeting couples and working weddings I realised that this was where my heart lay. I have never worked the same wedding twice, that’s because it’s always such a unique and personalised day, and I love that! I’m not going to lie and say it isn’t stressful at times, but I also wouldn’t change my job for anything in the world!

So fast forward to 2020, pandemic hits and from March until the foreseeable future all of my weddings have been postponed. Thankfully I have been able to reschedule almost all of my couples and I can’t wait until 2021 because I will get to see you all again and it’s going to be so exciting, but in the meantime,  I have been left with so much time on my hands. I decided instead of moping around, that I am going to make the most of it! This has finally given me time to really take a look at FMP and give the company some new life, this means over the upcoming weeks I will be changing over to a new logo (it’s beautiful and I love it!), a new website and leaflets to match!

I simply can’t wait to share with you all the fresh, new and romantic look for FMP, if you haven’t guessed already I am so excited. I would also like to thank those of you who have helped with providing inspiration and feedback for FMP’s new look, after all I wouldn’t still be here running my videography company without your trust and support!
